“Pulsera” can be worn as a bracelet. It can also be seen as a headdress or belt. The ribbon is also used to tie ceremonial ritual blankets (Mesa Andena) together.
The Andean people associate the Pulseras with protection, balancing energy, or support on the path of initiation. They are worn after rituals, for example, as a reminder of the openings. Married couples wear it to remind themselves again and again of their commitment.
